Posts about adulterated ingredients at fast food restaurants, videos about alleged political shenanigans, and forums discussing the latest evidence proving man’s greatest achievements were hoaxes find a ready audience online. We examine the role that the Internet plays in conspiracy theories and if its influence is perhaps a bit less than most people assume.
